Little Miss Fruitcake A lot might be going on in the head of this young woman. She is a dreamer, a creator, a lover of colour, vibrancy, and flavour. Occasionally, she can be silly and goofy, and another time, she might be quiet and serious. There are times when she needs to take a moment to reflect on the glorious aspects of life that surround her and remember the wonderful things about it. Her life is full of movement and flow, and she is easily able to adapt to changes that life brings to her as well as to changes that grow her. Creating textures, adding stencil work and blending beautiful colours together was a real pleasure for me to do with this piece. The brush strokes in this painting are very fine, and there is a lot of contrast between some of the elements that you see.

As an artist, I am trying to make a statement, invent, connect, change a perspective, and improve the capability of turning nothing into something magical. Creating something that makes a difference in a person's life. Growing up, I was fascinated by vibrant colours and often found myself daydreaming about whimsy worlds while I sketched and painted. In some ways, I found it to be an escape from reality, and this allowed me to go to imaginary worlds, places I could never visit in the real world. Inspiration came from different surroundings, people, and animals; however, twisting it and adding fantasy was a lot of fun. I am fascinated by art and might also be a little obsessive about it.
